Décembre *vomissent*
...Or December *hurl*
For you who come here from time to time; I've been crazy busy - a thousand apologies! The finishing touches of my Lady Vengeance picture have been postponed. I got a tablet for my 21st, and I want to use that when drawing it... but being the busy bee I've been, I haven't had the opportunity to install it yet.
I have, however, been making a mixed CD for a Japanese acquiantance and I finished the cover yesterday. Lo and behold:

I hope she, and all you others, like it. I used some new colour pencils I got this friday as a birthday present from a friend. I hope I get into the art course I've applied for next semester, I'd really like to brush up on my skills.
On another note, check this über-comic out:
Jours décents.
...Or Decent Days.
I recently saw two really good movies. One of them was Kamikaze Girls, which I'd been hesistant about because of Anna Tsuchiya, who I personally think performes a lousy
Nana intro song (though she wasn't the one who wrote it, which make me even more sceptic, I have a love/hate relationship to 'aidoru's) - anyhow, I saw the movie and was happily surprised!

Not only was it really fun with an amazing layout, Anna actually came through real nice! I've completely changed my mind about her and become a fan instead. Yeah, I'm pretty easily persuaded I guess. ^^
I also rewatched one of the greatest films of our time, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. My god, I want to have her babies. I'm making a little tribute to the movie, which is turning out real nice. I'm too tired to finish it tonight, though. Tomorrow is my birthday party (which we can't have on my birthday cause everybody is busy, including myself) - so I'll hopefully have it done by Tuesday.

Somebody buy me this poster? It's my birthday! Come on...
Le deuxième panneau.
...Or The second panel.
Seems it arrived after all.
It's December now, four more days until my birthday. Is it a sign that you're old when you feel like time runs you by? If that's so, I'm a very old lady in a soon-to-be 21 year olds body. Another dirty picture below.

(Translation:
Phone: Ringring~
Girl: Um... Hang on...)
Le premier panneau.
...Or The first panel.
I've been creative again. I hope to make more. This is just the first panel of what will be a whole strip. Or so goes my plan anyway. I shan't guarantee anything... But isn't it rad?
Siouxsie & the Banshees.
...Are great.
*sigh* Late night creations when I should be sleeping...

Goodnight!
Jours silencieux.
Une image supplémentaire.
...Or an extra picture.
Wow, I'm on fire today. Or something.
I really enjoyed doing this, it's simple as can be, but that can sometimes be rewarding too. Like it?
Bonjour Dimanche.
...Or Hello Sunday.
Sundays are for sitting still and being bored, and I must say mission accomplished. Except now I must also do all those things I've postponed this week due to other engagements. Like cleaning. God I hate cleaning. I've been drawing since I got up, I don't know if I like it. I think I don't... Maybe the curves on her body, but definitely not anything else. I was thinking of naming it 'Thanksgiving' at first. But then again not.
Sundays. Yeah.
Une longue journée.
...Or A long day.
I've been working at the film shop today and I went hungry all those hours. I'd only brought three small sandwiches and by the time I got home I stuffed myself with fajitas from yesterday and simply parked my behind in my comfy-chair. I haven't moved since.

I decided to see a movie so I watched 'Match Point', which I'd wanted to see, not for Scarlett, but for Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Velvet Goldmine anyone?). I guess that was silly of me, considering it's a Woody Allen movie. Now I sit here, two hours later, completely at a drag. My god I really hate those kinds of films. I don't know, I have this inflexible demand that good movies should make you feel things that ordinary life won't let you; like unreasonable excitement and a lust for things you normally don't think about. It allows you those few precious moments of delirium, without taking anything inducing, and that is one of the main reasons I'm actually considering working with it in the future.
I don't know. Maybe if I was bored (and rich) and wanted to do something to see what people would think of it, even if I'd never really bothered making anything good out of it I'd make a movie like this. Except there would be more color I think. This movie could easily've been in black and white. Does that make me shallow? ... Maybe. And maybe that's why I'd watch Marie Antoinette another three times instead of watching this sorry flick again.
I also want to tell you about
Takano Aya. I think she is the most brilliant person ever. I fell in love with her when I was in Japan two years ago. I had bought these superficial magazines about how to become thin(ner) and stay in the right fashion, they amuse me as I'm sure they would anyone, but in the back of one of these magazines there was this picture. It was amazing in all its simplicity.
I've been trying to find it, but I'm not sure if it's too old, it's not a part of her more recent exhibitions anyway.

I don't know why, but she just make me feel so many happy things. If you don't know about her, I really suggest you go and find out.
Tout est meilleur en français.
...Or everything is better in French.
I base this partly on the American movie 'Marie Antoinette', which I saw on the premiere today. It was a very delicious-looking cake that tasted a bit fake. The part where Marie is 'singing' her opera speaks for the entire movie, in my opinion. None the less, it was, of course, fabulous.

My title is also inspired by this blog-community. I must say I'm in love. I made a silly little scribble inspired by it, dedicated to my new lover: zeblog.

Today was rather eventful, I must say. Not counting the movie. I was shopping with my sister and purchased a lovely pink cap - that would've by the way gone absolutely great with those pink shoes that were flashed in the movie. I also bought a strawberry notebook in my favorite shop Sorbet. They used to have this little clock that I coveted, with a motif by my darling
Jeffrey Fulvimari, but they'd sold it now I suspect. They did however still have two purses that I both want. Especially the one with this print (same as my clock):

Birthday, anyone?
Félicitations à moi!
...Or Congratulations to me!
I have succeeded in finding a much better blog to host my rantings, and it's in French!I realize it's been a while, last time I wrote I rambled about an online zine I wanted to create... I think we all know that was never meant to be. Time with me will teach you I'm great at making things up, but not so great at actually seeing them through.
Let's see, what am I up to these days... Oh, I'm a part of the lovely Kotonoha as a proofreader for the 'Pumpkin & Mayonnaise' project. If you're a fan of josei manga, I recommend you check it out! : )
I'm also in my very first band, we play Belle & Sebastian while we wait for our own musical achievements to take form. That day when I post a link to our first song will be a joyous one indeed.
It's my birthday the 5th of December. I'm turning 21, which by the way isn't such a big deal here in Sweden. You're an adult when you're 18, you're allowed to drive, smoke and drink at bars and you're allowed to actually buy that booze when you turn 20. All the boundaries of youth has been lifted since long. I guess if I decide to travel I'll be able to do those things in other countries too now.
Anyway, my point, that I was trying to make, was that my birthday is coming up and that I want presents! I'll make a detailed list later, so look forward to that! ... or something.
